Grade 1 & Grade 2

Our Grade 1 and Grade 2 programme is designed to build strong academic foundations while keeping learning engaging, meaningful and enjoyable for every child. At this stage, children begin to develop greater independence, curiosity and confidence, and our learning environment supports this growth through a balanced combination of academics, creativity, communication, physical activity and real-life experiences.

The curriculum focuses on developing essential skills in language, mathematics, environmental awareness and general knowledge while encouraging children to understand concepts rather than simply memorise them. Classroom learning is supported by activities, discussions, projects, practical exercises and interactive experiences that help children connect lessons with the world around them.

We place equal importance on communication skills, confidence building, values and social development. Children are encouraged to express their ideas, ask questions, participate in group activities and develop positive relationships with teachers and classmates. This helps create a learning atmosphere where every child feels comfortable, supported and motivated to participate.
